Welcome To Exmouth Light Orchestra!

Home to our 65-strong Symphony Orchestra, with musicians coming from across East Devon, Somerset, Exeter and Torbay.

Gone fishing!

A truly successful concert on 13th July in our new venue at Holy Trinity Church! The whole orchestra rose superbly to the occasion with some quite challenging music for an amateur orchestra and the audience loved it. Thank you for all of your hard work and for the help after the event: Bob Soutter said that in 20 years of being in charge of outside events at Holy Trinity, we had been the "nicest and most willing bunch he had ever worked with".

We're going to relax a bit in the 2019-2020 season and ease off somewhat on the 'challenge level' of our programme but continue to play tuneful music from a wide variety of styles from around the globe and have a lot of fun in the process!

Thank you too for the generous National Trust gift token, the extra special flowers and very fine single malt which we shall be taking afloat for our week's sail along the coast!

We wish you all a thoroughly relaxing and well earned summer break. See you in September! Best wishes from Daphne & John
